About this tour

Capture timeless memories in Kyoto’s historic Gion district with a private photoshoot.

Whether you’re traveling solo, as a couple, with family, or with friends, let a professional photographer capture your journey through Gion’s beautiful streets, traditional architecture, and iconic landmarks while you enjoy the experience.

Choose the session length that best fits your trip, from a 1-hour shoot to a full 6-hour photography experience. Your photographer will provide natural posing guidance while capturing a mix of candid moments and beautifully composed portraits.

Your photoshoot takes place around Gion and may include some of the area’s most photogenic locations, such as:

• Hōkan-ji Temple (Yasaka Pagoda)
• Sannenzaka Street
• Yasaka Koshindo Temple
• Traditional hidden alleys of Gion
• Maruyama Park

If you’d like your session to take place somewhere else in Kyoto, please let us know at least 24 hours before your booking. We will do our best to accommodate your request, subject to availability and the selected location.

After your session, you’ll receive all unedited JPG photos within 24 hours so you can immediately relive your experience. Once you’ve selected your favorite images, we’ll professionally edit the number of photos included in your chosen package. During the off-season, edited photos are typically delivered within 24 hours of receiving your selections.

You’ll have 2 weeks after your photoshoot to choose your favorite images for editing and download your complete gallery before it expires.

Planning to print your photos? Please let us know when selecting your images, as different printing needs may require different file formats. Please note that unedited JPG photos are provided for viewing and sharing purposes and are not recommended for printing.
